A proud Columbus, Ohio native, devoted wife, and mother, Mrs. B is a trusted tax expert with over 20 years of experience serving her community. Benisha launched her tax career in 2006, preparing taxes at no cost for community members through the Ohio Benefit Bank, answering a calling to ensure families had access to financial stability and critical resources.

Rooted deeply in biblical principles and faith, Benisha has dedicated the past two decades to advocacy, leadership, and service. Her work includes statewide and national advocacy with the Ohio Association of Foodbanks alongside Feeding America, championing issues such as the Farm Bill, SNAP, and the Benefits Cliff. As a nonprofit leader, she has served on the United Way of Central Ohio Safety Council, the YouthBuild USA National Alumni Council, co-facilitated Bridges Out of Poverty alongside Phil DeVol, and completed the YWCA Chase Gen-Y Leadership Project, among many other accomplishments.

Throughout her professional career, Benisha has held leadership and management roles with respected organizations including Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, Community Properties of Ohio, YWCA Columbus, and Godman Guild Association, where she consistently led with integrity, compassion, and results.

Benisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Ohio Christian University, is nearing completion of her MBA at Franklin University, and is a licensed Community Health Worker.
